July 31, 2008 · 1 Comment

Google trends is a fun little tool which lets you put in a search term and find out which countries and cities in the world(and in which language) are searching for that term the most. I thought I would put some music searches in there just to see what came up

The Power of a Great Soundtrack

July 29, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The power of a great sound track cannot be underestimated; it is these soundtracks which stay in our memories with iconic movie scenes. A great sound track can make an average movie better, and in the same token a bad soundtrack can make a good movie forgettable.

Not only did it make me love the movie more and feel very real empathy for the characters in the scene, but it made me love the song. Video for the song below

This got me thinking about my favourite movie soundtracks……

Justice is one of those which passed me by when my love of electronic music was in its slightly softer more house-leaning stages.
