My Top 15 Artists of 2008 – Part One

The end of the year is the time for lists – Its been a pretty decent year for electronic music with some solid albums and compliations fron the big boys, and some great up and coming artists emerging from all around the globe.

These are my top 15 artists based on my listening habbits, scrobbed by Last FM – Now these aren’t my favourite artists or the artists i think have done the best work in 2008 (that will be in the next post). But this is what i have been listening to over the last 12 months.

Sorry for the long absence! Good news  – i finished my Masters Thesis so i can finally get the site back up and running.

Hi all

Sorry i haven’t updated the site in a while; sometimes life gets in the way of things.

Unfortunately i won’t be able to update the site again until December as i am in the last few months of my studies and have no free time for this.

Please check back in a few months time and i promise to have heaps of cool new stuff posted

Musical tastes and personality type are closely related, according to a study of more than 36,000 people from around the world.

The research, which was carried out by Professor Adrian North of Heriot-Watt University, is said to be the largest such study ever undertaken.

Great Movie Soundtracks 2 – Crash

My itunes was on shuffle the other day when the song Sense of Touch by Mark Isham came on. This song literally moves me to tears – i have no idea what the words mean, but that doesn’t matter; it is a truly emotional song. This made me realise that when i was writing my post about movie soundtracks a while back i totally forgot Crash.
